Day 3.

Lovely ride through lanes and villages. But cycling is slow when you have to check which way to go every few minutes. Rising out of Ashborne, is one of the steepest and longest hills I have come across recently - had to do it in three sections. Still more long hills on the road into the Peak District. It is a beautiful evening and a lovely ride into Hartington Hall YHA. These places have changed since I last used them. There is a good restaurant, bar with real ale and I have my own room with on suite shower. I wil not book ahead for tomorrow as I did today. I cycled further than I wanted today. What will tomorrow bring?
